Jeanne Holleway - President / COO

As President and COO, Jeanne Holleway brings a wealth of knowledge and talent to Star Protection Agency LLC. She has over 10 years of industry experience with a strong background in business development and marketing. Jeanne’s responsibilities include oversight and management of day-to-day operations, as well as corporate business development, marketing and public relations for the Texas Regional office. She concentrates on expanding and growing an already diverse client base, and ensuring each client experiences an unsurpassed level of service and communication.

The Texas Regional office provides security and investigative services to a wide range of clients. In addition to guard services, the office provides patrol services, executive protection, investigative services, and high-end concierge-level security for a specialized client base unique to the Houston area.

Coming from a family of law enforcement members, Jeanne continued that family tradition by attending college in Texas and studying Criminal Justice, Forensics, Security, and Investigative Practices. Jeanne is a member in good standing of several local Chambers of Commerce as well as ASSIST (Associated Security Services and Investigators of the State of Texas). She is also a member of the American Business Women’s Association and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Additionally, Jeanne holds a Real Estate Agent License for the State of Texas, and is a member of the Houston Apartment Association. Her work ethic and professional philosophy can be summed up in this way: “Do your work with your whole heart, and you will rise above the competition.”

Colin Goodnight - Director of Operations

Colin began working in the security industry in 2003 after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement from Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State University). Colin joined Star with 8 years industry experience, all with AlliedBarton Security Services. Colin decided to start as a security officer and work his way up through management to better understand the entire security industry from the ground up.

Colin started as a loading dock officer at Chase Tower in Houston quickly working his way up through the ranks of Site Supervisor, Account Manager, Operations Manager to Area Manager overseeing commercial real estate in Houston. Colin continued to be promoted, managing the district office and all operations throughout the entire state of Louisiana for AlliedBarton.

Colin joined Star Protection Agency in February of 2011. As Director of Operations Colin’s responsibilities include management of Star Protection’s Operations, Human Resources, Business Structure and Development for the Texas Regional Office. Colin concentrates on improving and expanding the day to day operations, training, officer development and profit & loss.

William (Bill) Goebel - Controller

William (Bill) Goebel is Controller of Star Protection Agency bringing over 30 years of accounting and financial experience to support operations and customer requirements. Bill’s service industry experience of over 20 years includes: GCA Services Group, Associated Building Services and Continental Airlines where he held the positions of Division Controller, Controller and Assistant Controller, respectively. He has constantly worked to improve procedure efficiencies and to provide top level support to meet all customer needs. Bill began his career in accounting with Ernst & Young in St. Louis, Missouri. He obtained a CPA certificate from the State of Missouri and a BS degree in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.

John Shasteen - Human Resources Manager

As Human Resources Manager, John brings a wealth of knowledge and talent to Star Protection Agency LLC. He has over 25 years of Human Resource experience with a strong background in recruiting, training and employee relations. Additionally, he helped create and was Human Resource Director for SETEC, the Gerald D Hines Interests’ security entity. John’s responsibilities include oversight and management of day-to-day Human Resource operations.

John holds a BBA from the University of Texas and an MSLIR from Texas Christian University. He is also a Certified AMA Instructor, a Certified Birkman Consultant and has taught Insurance and Risk Management classes at North Lake College. “Make all of your mistakes at full speed ahead and don’t make the same mistake twice.”
