 Star Security Officer Requirements:

Minimum Skill Requirements:

-Outstanding 5 star customer service skills
-Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
-Ability to handle emergency situations under pressure
-Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
-Ability to work independently while also being a team player
-Ability to perform radio and cellular telephone etiquette
-Basic to intermediate computer skills
-Maintain client and company confidentiality at all times

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to stand, walk, run, climb stairs for up to 90% for approximately 8 hours
-Be able to tolerate exposure to outside elements for approximately 8 hours
-Ability to repetitively open heavy glass and metal doors
-Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
-Must have sufficient hearing ability to respond to verbal speech, alarm signals, radio and telephone communications
-Must have sufficient visual acuity to read and understand post orders, computer screens, check identification (such as company badge or drivers license) and to distinguish the faces of employees, contractors and visitors
-Must have a command of the English language that it is easily understood

As a condition of employment, all candidates are required to provide verification of a HS diploma
or equivalent, pass a pre-employment written test, thorough drug screen, and are subject to a comprehensive F.B.I. background check that may include criminal history, references, former employers, credit reports, employment eligibility and wage garnishments.

• Special Qualifications for Security Personnel: 

  Must demonstrate ability to recognize, observe, identify and report suspicious activity from land / water, enforce laws and statutes, must be flexible with days and hours worked as schedule fluctuates.
